Hippie Mint - Handcrafted Cold Process Soap

Hippie Mint - Handcrafted Cold Process Soap

$ 7.50

These cold process, handcrafted soaps are the perfect combination of Patchouli and Spearmint.  Think you know Patchouli?  Think you know Spearmint?  You can't handle the truth!!

Well, at almost 6oz each, technically they fit in your hands-- so yes, you can handle them.  Silky-smooth lather and luscious, syrupy scent will bring you back to your hazy, youthful summers.  (If only for the length of your shower.)

Making a gift set?  These bars go great with Body Butter sticks.

This soap is suitable for Vegetarians; Palm oil-Free, Phthalate free and Paraben free.

Ingredients: Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil, Organic Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Water, Oryza sativa (Rice Germ) Oil, Sodium Hydroxide*, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Fair Trade Organic Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Seed Butter, Ricinus Communis Seed Oil, Patchouli Essential Oil, Spearmint Essential Oil, Sodium Lactate (Vegetable Derived), Kaolin Clay, Skin Safe Colorant (Mica, Tin Oxide, Iron Oxide, Titanium Dioxide, Chromium Green Oxide), Locally-Sourced Cera Alba (Beeswax).

*Wait... what's this sodium hydroxide thing? That's lye. Lye + Water + Oils = Soap. I know people get nervous about chemicals in their products, but:  No actual lye remains in the soap after it is made.  Once the ingredients are combined, the lye is gone. Other makers of handmade soap will sometimes say 'saponified oils'... saponification is merely the chemical reaction of lye with the oil. Commercial and glycerin-style soaps will use formal chemical names, like 'sodium cocoate,' which is simply the chemical combination lye & coconut oil.

**Local pickup is available and shipping will be refunded, if written in the order notes.**
